Our Ethos

Our ethos is based upon delivering considerate construction as well as well designed, high quality, energy efficient, SMART, sustainable new homes.

We value the environment and the communities within which we work, and we understand the importance of minimising the impact of construction on communities as well as reducing the carbon emissions of our new homes to help safeguard the future.

COMMUNITY Ethos.  We will always try to be good neighbours by:

· Being courteous, respectful and tidy in and around the site.

· Implementing considerate working hours and delivery times.

· Reducing disturbance or nuisance by controlling dust and noise.

· Connecting with the community, sharing information, welcoming feedback, working proactively, and supporting community projects.

ENVIRONMENT Ethos. We aim to minimise our impact and enhance the environment by:

· Installing solar panels to provide low carbon renewable energy.

· Using highly energy efficient materials to reduce future carbon emissions and lower energy bills.

· Reducing waste and landfill by recycling or reusing as much as possible.

· Providing positive habitat legacy through thoughtful garden design.

· Supporting local charity or community projects.

We are excited to be supporting Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust (GWT) with their Whitminster traditional orchard restoration project as part of Cotswold Canals Connected. We enjoy volunteering along with fantastic, dedicated, talented individuals who value the environment and want to contribute to improving and enhancing local natural habitats, led by Peter from GWT.

Peter Savage, Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, said “Everyone is welcome to visit Pockett’s Orchard and use the new permissive footpath that leads to the canal, the new shelter and soon, some benches.
